Heligan
The Lost Gardens of Heligan consist of over 200 acres of Victorian garden, once lost and now restored to their former glory. Open all year round with special events and displays, a well stocked shop and an excellent cafe. From here it is an easy walk to Mevagissey. More details at www.heligan.com
Mevagissey
This picturesque fishing village is centred around a harbour with an active fishing fleet. The surrounding narrow streets have shops and cafes. The Coast Path and other footpaths lead to various destinations including Gorran and Heligan.
St. Austell
As well as a selection of shops the town has a main line railway station and bus station, served by GorranBus and providing connections to other parts of the county and beyond.
Shopping
Our bus also stops at Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and Asda, enabling you to do your weekly shop.
Truro
This popular shopping centre is also home to a museum and the cathedral, as well as a wide selection of cafes and restaurants. GorranBus schedules allow for your visit to Truro to be relatively short or rather longer in length as there is much to see.
Plymouth
A large city with a wide selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Plymouth has a long and varied history, much relating to its maritime past. There is much to explore around the Barbican and the Hoe.
